Back Patio Awning with Polycarbonate Roof
We worked with these homeowners to design and construct an awning over their home’s rear entrance and attached it to the house with a ledger. The awning was constructed using Douglas fir, which was painted to seal it and protect it from the elements. A charcoal-colored polycarbonate roof was installed to provide shade for their patio, offer UV ray protection to those sitting in its shade, and to further guard the wood against the elements. Electrical was installed, and lighting and fans were added under the awning to make the homeowners’ patio experience even more comfortable.
